The Mansion on Main Street, Voorhees, New Jersey has selected European trained Executive Chef Mirko Loeffler as the new member to head up their culinary team.
Mirko Loeffler is a Certified Executive Chef and Certified Chef de Cuisine. He is an expert on the art of culinary design and draws on more than 30-plus years in the hospitality industry. Raised in Germany, he received his culinary education at the Hotel Fach School in South Germany in 1978 and was a winner of the South Germany Hotel Restaurant Association’s Gold Medal for culinary excellence. He then went on to work in acclaimed four and five-star restaurants throughout Switzerland, France, Monte Carlo, Jamaica and the United States. Mirko always knew he wanted to pursue a culinary calling, and his subsequent international travels broadened his exposure to world cuisines. This rising star and award-winning European chef now brings his culinary achievements to South Jersey from Philadelphia. In 1993 he was honored as one of Philadelphia’s Fifty Top Chefs. In 1997, Mirko was recognized by his peers, coworkers, members of the First Coast Chapter, and the city of Jacksonville to be awarded Chef of the Year of Northeast Florida First Coast Chapter, Jacksonville, FL. He has appeared on a 30-minute food show on Home and Garden Television HGTV's “In Good Taste, as well as presentations on several local television news channels. Mirko continues to be active in the community and has supported foundation events and was asked to be a Celebrity Chef Judge for a Charity Event for Executive Chef's in the Pennsylvania area.
Chef Loeffler’s sophisticated culinary tradition is to use only the freshest products and seasonal ingredients to provide the highest quality for each event. Not only freshness, but also taste and a colorful plate are what he guarantees. His Sous Chef Michael Early and culinary staff have been together for several years. He shares his knowledge and experience with them to help give the personal touch for your special event.
